The IT team maintains our IT infrastructure, supports the business to get the most out of our 3rd party and internally developed software as well as delivering IT solutions for external use by clients and intermediaries through the web. We produce a wide variety of business systems that are used across all our practice areas. We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Developer to join the Titan team in our London office on a hybrid basis (2-3 days in the office).

You will be responsible for producing code that contributes to the build and integration of our core business applications. Working in the agile Development Team, you will maintain and enhance existing software products as well as develop and progress exciting new products to accelerate our ambitious business growth plans.

A snapshot of your day

  • Support delivery commitments to develop, test and implement appropriate software
  • Develop and maintain code for software applications, working under the direction of senior developers
  • Investigate and resolve bugs in software both in production and under development
  • Work closely with other team members to understand the business requirements and deliver solutions that meet them
  • Participate in team, QA and stakeholder reviews of deliverables
  • Contribute to the technical documentation of software developed

We Would Love To Hear From If You Have

  • Relevant GCSE, A level or degree qualifications or proven experience in a similar role
  • An understanding of Agile Development concepts
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to grasp detailed requirements/issues and understand proposed solutions
  • Structured, analytical approach to work and problem solving
  • Organisational skills with the ability to proactively prioritise and maintain personal effectiveness within a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to adapt to a wide range of software tools and applications
  • Natural curiosity, tenacity and an open mind
  • Ability to work hard with a positive attitude, continuously developing skills and knowledge
