Job Summary:
As Agentio’s first creator acquisition hire, you will have the opportunity to make an incredible impact and lay the foundation of our creator sales and retention engine. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work closely with the CTO, our creator and partnerships success team, and our brand sales team to provide vital product feedback, construct the sales playbook, and scale our creator acquisition initiatives. This role combines both strategy and execution; you'll start as an individual contributor with aggressive, but attainable goals and the expectation that you will generate and close a large creator pipeline, and you will be primed to evolve into a leadership and management role as we scale.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement our creator acquisition and retention strategies to build a network of brand-safe, highly-converting creators who have large, passionate fan bases on YouTube and elsewhere
- Source and onboard creators via direct outreach and scaled partnerships with management firms
- Collaborate with the CTO and product team to loop in customer feedback for product refinement
- You’ll need to be a prospecting wizard, able to stack your calendar with 25+ outbound meetings/week through a systematic, highly personalized prospecting process
- Generate and execute sales plans and strategies to exceed ambitious, but realistic onboarding targets
- Help author the playbook for creator acquisition at Agentio, creating scalable processes for future team members
- Work with our brand sales team to optimize creator-brand fit
- Position yourself to help grow and lead the team when the timing is right
- Own an executive room and deliver a clear and concise pitch about the value that Agentio will bring to creators, while instilling confidence by challenging current norms
- Stay highly organized and effectively build and manage a pipeline with detailed CRM updates
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of creator-acquisition and partnerships experience, ideally at a fast-paced startup
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a history of winning
- A deep passion and understanding of the influencer/creator space, specifically YouTube creators
- Lengthy experience working with creators to help them monetize through brand deals and partnerships
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to engage and partner directly with C-Level executives at management firms and the world's largest creators
- Nimble, hungry, humble, and adaptive to change
- Have helped scale and build new revenue lines and/or teams
- Must be NYC-based; we are building our team in person (5 days/week) at our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office!
- Comfortable with traveling for work to conferences, weekend events, and frequent creator events
