Job Summary:
As Agentio’s first sales hire, you will have the opportunity to make an incredible impact and lay the foundation of our sales engine. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work closely with the CTO and creator partnerships team to provide vital product feedback, construct the sales playbook, and scale our brand sales initiatives. This role combines both strategy and execution; you'll start as an individual contributor with aggressive, but attainable goals and the expectation that you will generate and close a large sales pipeline of new and existing customers, and you will be primed to evolve into a leadership and management role as we scale.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement brand sales strategies to drive 10s of millions of dollars of ad spend on Agentio
- Evangelize and educate prospective customers on the efficiency and performance of YouTube and creator-led sponsored content ad reads
- Build and grow key relationships with brand partners who are highly analytical and data-driven
- Be a prospecting wizard, able to stack your calendar with 15+ outbound meetings/week through a systematic, highly personalized prospecting process
- Collaborate with the CTO and product team to loop in customer feedback for product refinement
- Generate and execute sales plans and strategies to exceed ambitious, but realistic sales targets
- Own the entire sales cycle from outreach, to close
- Help author the playbook for brand sales at Agentio, creating scalable processes for future team members
- Work with our creator partnerships team to optimize creator-brand fit
- Position yourself to help grow and lead the team when the timing is right
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend performance enhancements
- Own an executive room and deliver a clear and concise pitch about the value that Agentio will bring to marketers, while instilling confidence by challenging current norms
- Stay highly organized and effectively build and manage a pipeline with detailed CRM updates
Qualifications:
- 7-12 years of sales experience, with recent management experience, and, ideally experience in a startup environment
- Experience selling to large enterprises and mid-market companies
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a history of winning
- Have held sales and/or sales management roles in the influencer/creator and/or ad-tech space where you have sold to media buyers and performance marketers
- Proven ability to consistently own entire sales cycles - from outreach to navigating legal and procurement, to expanding new relationships
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- A deep passion for the influencer/creator space, specifically YouTube
- Ability to engage and partner with C-Level executives at both brands and agencies
- A deep understanding of how to work with brands directly, and also how to forge relationships with agency counterparts
- Nimble, hungry, humble, and adaptive to change
- Have helped scale and build new revenue lines and/or teams
- Must be NYC-based; we are building our team in person (5 days/week) at our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office!
