Armada Brands builds direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands for the Philippines. Our goal is to create the most popular consumer brands of tomorrow. We focus on the categories i) bags & travel and ii) food supplements. We develop new products addressing underserved consumer demands and launch them under new, proprietary brands. We follow a digital-first and DTC-centric approach with an omni-channel trajectory.

We are a start-up company that raised funding from investors including reputable venture capital firms as well as business angels from the Philippines and across Southeast Asia. We currently run a portfolio of two brands and are building multiple new brands for launch in the coming months. We are a group of ecommerce enthusiasts with a lot of excitement for DTC, digital marketing, and consumer brands.

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to support our Commercial Team (Sales & Marketing) in growing our DTC brands. The intern will be given responsibility for meaningful workstreams based on personal interests and current needs of the team. The intern will work towards clearly pre-defined objectives and measurable targets. We make extra efforts to ensure our interns go through deep learning experiences, create visible impact, and are having fun in the process.

Role

  • Complete a 3-month internship in our Commercial Team (Sales & Marketing)
  • Manage dedicated marketing workstreams independently with guidance from the team
  • Select workstreams based on personal interests and needs of the team; rotations are possible
  • Focus on key workstreams: ad ideation, campaign ideation, content creation, video production, media design, copywriting, email marketing, influencer marketing, social media activity, live selling, storefront design, marketing planning, and much more
  • Create valuable output and see the results of your work directly
  • Learn how to work in a professional and high-paced environment
  • Work directly with the CCO of the company

Background

  • University student (3rd or 4th year) in business administration, marketing, communications, design, psychology or other fields with arguable proximity to commerce and marketing
  • Interest in DTC & ecommerce
  • Interest in digital marketing
  • Eye for good design and branding
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English

Benefits

  • Monthly allowance (5,000 PHP per month)
  • 50% role; approximately 20 hours per week
  • 3 months duration
