Armada Brands builds direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands for the Philippines. Our goal is to create the most popular and exciting consumer brands in the nutrition space. We formulate new products in the food supplement vertical as well as more broadly in the food & beverage market, addressing underserved consumer demands. We launch the products under new, proprietary brands. We follow a digital-first and DTC-centric approach with an omni-channel trajectory.
We are a start-up company that raised funding from investors including reputable venture capital firms as well as business angels from the Philippines and across Southeast Asia. We currently run a portfolio of two brands and are building multiple new brands for launch in the coming months. We are a group of ecommerce enthusiasts with a lot of excitement for DTC, digital marketing, and consumer brands.
We are looking for an Operations Intern to help us in managing the flow of goods and the handling of orders for our DTC brands. With guidance from the Operations Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our day-to-day operations and gain hands-on experience in running e-commerce operations, from procurement and supply chain to warehousing and fulfillment to delivery all the way to customer service.
Role
- Complete a 3-month internship in our Operations Team
- Learn the entire operations process from inventory management to order management to customer service
- Select and focus on key workstreams based on personal preferences and team need
- Assist in monitoring and managing orders and resolving shipping-related issues or delays
- Execute daily reporting to cover info needs of the team
- Analyze data to monitor performance and identify actions needed or improvement areas
- Take responsibility for operations projects on ad hoc basis
- Learn how to work in a professional and high-paced environment
Background
- University student (3rd or 4th year) in business administration, business management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, computer science, or related fields
- Interest in DTC & ecommerce, and project management
- Analytical mindset; attention to detail; ability to analyze data, and draw actionable insights
- Enthusiasm for learning; proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges and responsibilities
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
Benefits
- Monthly allowance (5,000 PHP per month)
- 50% role; approximately 20 hours per week
