This role supports CQ – Distribution / P. Control Hub activities within the Quality organization for DePuy Synthes. The position partners with internal stakeholders and external distributors to help ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This is an entry‑to‑developing professional role that plays a key part in maintaining distributor compliance, strengthening quality processes, and supporting continuous improvement across the distributor network.

The position partners with internal stakeholders and external distributors to help ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This is an entry‑to‑developing professional role that plays a key part in maintaining distributor compliance, strengthening quality processes, and supporting continuous improvement across the distributor network.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the quality aspects of the purchasing controls implementation plan, including existing and new distributors and suppliers across LATAM
- Apply risk assessment tools, processes, and criteria for impact (risk) categorization of suppliers; Implement supplier selection and qualification tools and processes for suppliers; Acts as the LATAM representative on a global Supplier Quality Management team.
- Partners with Operations and Commercial to develop and maintain a LATAM Regional Approved Suppliers List; Develops and maintains the annual audit schedule for the region; Lead audit schedule execution, ensuring quality audits and assessments of suppliers that can be executed internally or throw a third-party consultant.
- Leads the development and management of Supplier Quality Agreements.
Education
- Required: Graduation in pharmacy, engineering, or scientific discipline.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Quality Area related to Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Consumer products
- Basic understanding of quality systems, compliance processes, or regulated industry requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation accurately.
- Ability to analyze data, identify gaps, and support process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience supporting distributor or supplier quality activities.
- Exposure to medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with audit processes, CAPA tracking, or quality documentation systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Languages: Spanish and English required for regional/global collaboration.
- Travel: LATAM region as needed to support distributor activities.
