The Manager, Planning Parameters & Analytics is responsible for implementing the governance and execution of parameters management across DePuy Synthes. This role develops and maintains policies, standards, and procedures governing planning master data and system parameters to ensure data integrity, consistency, and planning effectiveness. The position drives continuous improvement through analytics, business intelligence, and robust governance practices while collaborating with leaders and multi-functional stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

The Manager, Planning Parameters & Analytics is responsible for implementing the governance and execution of parameters management across DePuy Synthes. The position drives continuous improvement through analytics, business intelligence, and robust governance practices while collaborating with leaders and multi-functional stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain governance for planning parameters, including lead times, lot sizes, reorder points, and sourcing rules.
- Develop key performance indicator frameworks and performance metrics to measure forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, planning effectiveness, and master data quality.
- Analyze sophisticated datasets and deliver actionable insights to improve supply chain and planning performance.
- Present data-driven recommendations and complex analytical concepts to leadership, business partners, and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with Planning Directors to implement and manage business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Lead master data management initiatives and ensure data accuracy, compliance, and standardization across systems.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to support ERP enhancements, data architecture improvements, and system integrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain, analytics, or related disciplines.
- Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance.
- Solid experience with ERP systems, including SAP and/or JD Edwards (JDE).
- Proven experience developing and managing planning performance metrics and KPI frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into business insights and operational improvements.
- Experience with SQL, Alteryx, JavaScript, Python, or other data management and automation tools.
- Proficiency with business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with supply chain planning systems such as APO, Blue Yonder, or OMP.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and advanced analytics techniques.
- Experience leading digital transformation or process automation
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent preferred.

- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
- Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
- Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
