Clear.bio is a healthtech start-up from Amsterdam and founded in 2019 by Piet Hein van Dam and Madelon Bracke. Our mission is to help people with type 2 diabetes to become the best and healthiest version of themselves. With data instead of pills, and with the most modern technology and latest nutritional science. It is scientifically proven that everyone reacts differently to food. That is why there is only one diet that works: a personal data-driven diet. But how do you know what is good for you? The answer lies in understanding your own response to food: how your body breaks down and digests the food and drink you ingest. Our digital self-help tool helps you to make the right nutritional choices for your health. With a sensor on your upper arm you measure your blood sugar in real time. In our app you record everything you eat and drink. Then you can immediately see in the app how your blood sugar reacts to food and you get advice on what is and is not good for you. Data-driven, 100% personal and concrete. By making small, smart adjustments to your diet and with the help of dieticians (via the app), you can improve your blood sugar and health yourself. Without additional care or medication.
