This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer based in Parañaque. The Associate Lawyer will provide legal consultation, draft and review contracts, assist in compliance with local regulatory frameworks, and handle cases related to microfinance and business operations. Additional responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing case files, representing the company in legal proceedings, and offering guidance on corporate governance and risk mitigation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the company's financial and technological services will be required.
- Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents
- Familiar with local regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize workloads, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and admission to the bar in the Philippines
- Experience in financial technology or microfinance is a plus
