The Head of Sales is responsible for leading the sales team in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving business objectives. As a head, you will play a strategic role in building and nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in Developing and Building Global Capability Centres (GCCs): Proven track record in establishing, scaling, and optimizing GCCs, including strategic planning, operational setup, and team management.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by effectively managing client relationships with revenue over USD 50 million, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Client Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions to maximize value and satisfaction.
  • Sales Performance: Lead the sales team to consistently exceed targets, with a track record of achieving sales goals at least 10 times the salary.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding market reach and penetration through strategic initiatives and proactive business development efforts.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives, aligning with market trends and customer needs to drive sustainable business growth.
  • Preparation of proposal: This will include co-ordination with the marketing team in order to prepare customized proposal for each potential lead.

Key Skills Area

  • Master's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in the US market and/or holding a valid USA visa.
  • 12-15 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles
  • Demonstrated experience of leading a team of at least eight members.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.​
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in global or multi-national organizations, with exposure to diverse markets, cultures, and customer segments.
  • Knowledge of emerging sales technologies and trends, such as sales automation, predictive analytics, and AI-driven sales enablement tools.
  • Experience working with CRM software such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, etc.
  • Familiarity with proposal and quoting tools such as PandaDoc, Qwilr, etc.
  • Exposure to forecasting and predictive analytics tools like Insight Squared, Sales Predict, etc.
  • Proficiency in social selling tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Demonstrate ambition and a drive to advance leadership skills within the industry.
  • Functional skills (Proficient in MS Office).​
