We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design or architecture, excellent project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions. As a Design Manager, you will oversee the entire design process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality work.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.
• Develop and present design concepts, proposals, and mood boards to clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the creation of detailed design plans, including layouts, elevations, and 3D renderings.
• Ensure the selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes align with the design vision and budget.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with project team, purchase team, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve any issues, and ensure quality control.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and technology to bring fresh and innovative ideas to projects.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
• Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, project management, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Design Manager or in a similar senior design role, preferably in corporate or commercial projects.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent visual and spatial design skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials is a plus.
