Role Overview:
Dune Security is seeking a Sales Manager with exceptional talent and ambition to be a foundational member of our team. Based in our new Soho office in NYC, with stunning views of the Freedom Tower, you will have the opportunity to report directly to the CEO and work closely with the entire team. Your primary mission will be to drive the ARR growth of our innovative cybersecurity company. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional in high-growth tech environments, with a particular emphasis on SaaS sales. A background in cybersecurity SaaS sales will be considered an advantage. In this pivotal role, you are expected to develop and execute impactful sales strategies, forge and nurture key customer relationships, and significantly contribute to our revenue growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Spearhead sales efforts, from identifying prospects to closing deals, particularly focusing on 6 and 7-figure ARR deals with CISOs.
- Engage in Business Development Representative (BDR) activities until that function is matured and separated, supported by our efficient AI-based system, to generate leads and nurture prospects.
Sales Operations:
- Take charge of optimizing our CRM and sales processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our sales operations.
- As a critical early team member, you'll also function at times as a Chief of Staff, filling in gaps and ensuring seamless operations across departments.
Strategic Leadership:
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy and structure as the company grows.
- Lead and mentor future sales teams, setting a high standard for performance and culture.
Product Feedback:
- Feed the voice of the enterprise customer into our product, design, and engineering teams to directly impact future development.
Compensation and Incentives:
- Aggressive fixed plus variable incentive comp tied directly to individual net new ARR
- Heavily equity incentivized, offering a significant stake in the company's future success.
