Role Overview: As an Account Executive at Dune Security, you will be responsible for closing new business with enterprise customers. This role requires a proven track record of selling cybersecurity SaaS solutions, engaging with CISOs, security leaders, and technical stakeholders, and driving high-value sales cycles.

We are looking for a strategic closer who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. You’ll take ownership of pipeline development, manage complex security sales cycles, and drive revenue growth through direct sales and channel partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Closing New Business

  • Own and drive the entire sales process, from prospecting to close, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Lead compelling product demos that effectively communicate Dune Security’s value proposition to CISOs, IT security teams, and risk management leaders
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quota through strategic prospecting, negotiation, and deal execution.

Strategic Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our existing client accounts
  • Partner with Customer Success to deliver the full value of the product and drive solution adoption.
  • Expand Dune Security’s presence within enterprise cybersecurity teams through upsells, cross-sells, and expansion strategies.

Partner Management & Pipeline Growth

  • Build strategic partnerships with VARs, MSSPs, and security service providers to enhance channel-driven sales.
  • Teach and enable channel sellers to identify and close new business for Dune Security

Sales Process Optimization

  • Leverage Salesforce and sales automation tools to track pipeline performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and maintain CRM hygiene.
  • Identify and optimize sales processes to shorten deal cycles and increase conversion rates.
  • Provide customer feedback to product and marketing teams to refine messaging, positioning, and roadmap priorities.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in closing cybersecurity SaaS deals within the mid-market or enterprise space.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience selling to CISOs, security leadership, IT risk, and compliance teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, aligning both technical and executive buyers.
  • Strong discovery, objection handling, and negotiation skills to drive revenue growth.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, sales automation tools, and multi-channel prospecting strategies.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, IAM, risk management, and security awareness training solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience selling User Risk Management, Security Awareness Training, or IAM solutions.
  • Prior experience working at Series A to C cybersecurity startups.
  • Familiarity with channel sales and security-focused VAR/MSSP partnerships.

Additional Details:

  • Location: NYC. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of our TriBeca, Manhattan office.
  • Hours: Full-time.
