ABOUT EARLYTRADE

Earlytrade is a B2B fintech platform purpose-built for the construction industry. We provide cash flow and working capital solutions that help general contractors and their supply chains operate with greater financial efficiency and certainty. Our platform is deployed inside some of the most complex project environments in North America, serving finance and treasury leaders at mid-to-large general contractor firms. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia with a growing North American presence in Denver, CO, Earlytrade is scaling its mid-market sales organization to meet accelerating demand across the U.S.

THE ROLE

The Account Executive, Mid-Market owns the full sales cycle for general contractor accounts with $50M–$500M in annual revenue within a defined region. You are a new logo hunter — your job is to identify, qualify, and close net new accounts, not manage an existing book. You will work a blend of SDR-sourced pipeline and self-generated opportunities, running structured, multi-stakeholder deals from first meeting to signed contract.

You will sell directly to CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance leadership — executives managing cash flow across multi-project portfolios — and you will be expected to build credibility with them quickly. This is a field role. You will be in front of prospects, at industry events, and wherever deals get done in your region.

This is not an inbound-fed role. If you want to own a territory and get paid to close, this is it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Close New Business

  • Own the full sales cycle — from qualified meeting to closed-won — across mid-market GC accounts in your region.
  • Pursue net new logo acquisition as your primary objective; this is not an expansion or renewal role.
  • Sell to CFOs, Controllers, and VP-level finance leadership, positioning Earlytrade's platform against their specific cash flow and working capital challenges.
  • Lead multi-stakeholder deals with structure and urgency, coordinating internal resources — solutions, finance, implementation — as needed to advance and close.
  • Apply MEDDIC methodology to qualify opportunities, identify economic buyers, and maintain disciplined pipeline management.
  • Deliver accurate, consistent forecasting to the VP of Revenue.

Build Pipeline

  • Work SDR-sourced pipeline with speed and rigor — follow up quickly, qualify thoroughly, and advance without stalling.
  • Self-source a portion of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, industry networking, referrals, and regional event presence.
  • Maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline across all stages at all times.

Work the Field

  • Attend regional construction and finance industry events to build market presence and surface new opportunities.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and executive presentations across your territory.
  • Build a reputation as a credible, trusted resource for construction finance leaders in your region.

Operate with Precision

  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline documentation in Salesforce.
  • Use Outreach, Gong, and ZoomInfo to execute prospecting sequences, review call performance, and prioritize accounts.
  • Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to the VP of Revenue and marketing team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3–5 years of B2B SaaS or fintech sales experience in a closing role — mid-market or above.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding new logo quota in a field sales environment.
  • Experience selling to C-suite finance leadership (CFO, Controller, VP Finance) as the primary economic buyer.
  • Proficiency in MEDDIC or equivalent enterprise sales methodology.
  • Strong financial acumen — able to build ROI-grounded business cases and navigate multi-stakeholder procurement processes.
  • Highly self-directed and capable of managing a full pipeline with limited hand-holding.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and ZoomInfo, or equivalent enterprise sales stack.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within your assigned region.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience selling into construction, infrastructure, or real estate verticals.
  • Familiarity with construction finance workflows: subcontractor payments, lien waivers, job cost accounting, or working capital management.
  • Experience selling ERP-adjacent, AP automation, or payments platforms into finance teams.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Consistent attainment of new logo quota within your region.
  • A healthy, well-qualified pipeline maintained across all stages at all times.
  • Accurate forecasting with minimal end-of-quarter surprises.
  • Strong conversion from qualified meeting to closed-won.
  • A growing presence and credibility in the regional construction finance community.
  • A clear path to Senior AE or Enterprise Sales Director based on performance.

WHY EARLYTRADE

  • The problem we solve is real, recurring, and financially material for our buyers. This is not a hard sell — it is an education.
  • SDR support means you spend your time closing, not just prospecting.
  • The product is already deployed and proven with enterprise GC firms. You will enter with reference accounts and case studies.
  • Direct line to the VP of Revenue and a leadership team that invests in seller development.
  • Competitive OTE, equity participation (subject to eligibility), and benefits designed for senior individual contributors.
  • A clear, performance-based path to Sales Director.

Earlytrade is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
