As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Claims to lead and evolve our claims operations.

Position Overview

The Head of Claims will be responsible for leading the overall claims strategy, operations, and performance at Fair Warranty. This role will oversee the full claims lifecycle, ensuring efficient processing, regulatory compliance, strong partner relationships, and an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will combine operational leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of claims management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end claims operations across all warranty products
  • Develop and implement claims strategies that improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational performance
  • Establish and maintain claims policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management standards
  • Monitor claims performance metrics, including cycle times, approval rates, and cost management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the claims workflow
  • Manage and develop a high-performing claims team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Collaborate with underwriting, operations, customer support, and external partners to ensure smooth claims handling
  • Manage relationships with third-party administrators, service providers, and vendors
  • Provide reporting and insights to executive leadership on claims trends, risks, and operational improvements
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in claims management, preferably within VSC / auto warranty, or protection products
  • Proven experience leading and developing claims teams
  • Strong understanding of claims processes, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance and customer outcomes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience implementing claims technology or process automation is an asset
  • Analytical mindset with strong decision-making abilities
