About Fair

Fair is redefining vehicle protection with a mission rooted in trust, transparency, and doing right by drivers. We're a modern, venture-backed warranty company that's fixing what's broken in the auto protection world—no hidden fees, no pushy sales tactics, just comprehensive coverage that actually works.

With a 4.9-star rating across all platforms, 98% customer satisfaction score, and coverage for over 6,000 vehicles nationwide, Fair delivers what legacy warranty providers can't: transparent pricing, 1,000+ parts covered, 24/7 roadside assistance, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. We're not just a warranty company—we're your roadside ally.

Our Core Values:

  • Do the Right Thing: Lead with integrity, treat people right—always
  • Be an Owner: Take initiative, think long-term, deliver with care
  • What If: Challenge the norm, stay curious, and build boldly

The Opportunity

Fair is seeking a results-driven Territory Manager to expand our insurance partnership channel and drive growth through strategic agency relationships. In this role, you'll be the face of Fair in your territory, building lasting partnerships with independent insurance agencies and helping them unlock new revenue streams by bundling Fair's vehicle service contracts with personal and small commercial auto insurance policies.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on relationship-building, enjoys coaching partners to success, and wants to be part of a fast-growing, mission-driven company that's disrupting the warranty industry.

What You'll Do:

Partnership Development & Growth

  • Identify new distribution partners through referrals, network relationships and industry events. Expected to travel monthly to regional and national P&C insurance conferences and be onsite with partners to support implementation.
  • Grow existing agency partnerships by deepening relationships, increasing product attachment rates, and driving incremental revenue for both Fair and our partner agencies.
  • Appoint and onboard new insurance agency partners within your territory, identifying high-potential agencies that align with Fair's customer-first values.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales targets, maximize market penetration, and expand Fair's footprint in personal and small commercial auto insurance channels.

Partner Coaching & Enablement

  • Train and coach insurance agents on Fair's value proposition, product offerings, competitive advantages, and best practices for selling and bundling vehicle service contracts with auto insurance policies.
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual training sessions, webinars, and one-on-one coaching to improve partner product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing support to agency partners, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor on all things Fair.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Drive new business acquisition by collaborating with agency partners to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within their personal and small commercial auto insurance client base.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, provide actionable feedback, and implement strategies to help partners meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Leverage Fair's technology platform (including integrations like Canopy Connect) to streamline quoting, binding, and servicing for maximum efficiency.

Market Intelligence & Collaboration

  • Gather market insights on competitive landscape, partner needs, and customer preferences; share feedback with product, marketing, and leadership teams to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Fair at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new partnership leads.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of sales or territory management experience in insurance, warranty, or financial services industries (experience with independent insurance agencies strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of building and managing partner/agency relationships and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Deep understanding of the insurance distribution model, particularly independent agency operations, P&C insurance products, and cross-selling strategies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to train, coach, and influence partners at all levels
  • Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your territory independently
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within assigned territory (up to 50%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling or distributing P&C personal and/or commercial lines auto insurance and ancillary insurance products
  • Established relationships with independent insurance agencies in your territory
  • Familiarity with insurance agency management systems (AMS) and quoting platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Success Profile

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Build authentic relationships and genuinely enjoy helping partners succeed
  • Think like an owner and take initiative to solve problems creatively
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the pace of a high-growth startup environment
  • Lead with integrity and embody Fair's commitment to transparency and doing the right thing
  • Are data-driven but also trust your instincts when building territory strategy
  • Love coaching and get energy from helping others achieve their goals

What Fair Offers:

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Annual Performance Bonus: Opportunity to earn additional income based on territory performance and company goals
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package including:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holidays
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • Remote/hybrid work flexibility

Career Growth

  • Join a venture-backed company during a pivotal growth phase with significant upward mobility
  • Work directly with experienced leadership team in tech, P&C insurance and insurtech
  • Opportunity to shape the future of insurance distribution and warranty partnerships

Culture & Impact

  • Be part of a mission-driven team that's genuinely changing the warranty industry for the better
  • Work with a product that customers love (4.9-star rating, 98% CSAT)
  • Collaborate with talented, passionate colleagues who value transparency and innovation
