Job Description


We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android-based system, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance and usability.


Tasks

Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain the family. cards Android-based system.

  • Develop and maintain the companion app (Multiplatform Compose).

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.


Requirements

Qualifications



  • Proven software development experience and Android skills development.

  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Kotlin.

  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.

  • Proficient understanding of git.

  • Familiarity with continuous integration.


Bonus Points



  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Infrared (IR), HDMI CEC, and Near Field Communication (NFC).

  • Knowledge of Swift for companion app development.

  • Familiarity with Ansible for automation.

  • Business proficiency in German.
