Fanfix is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take a leadership position in driving the development and innovation of our platform. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will focus on complex system design, provide technical leadership, and mentor team members. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will build scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems that are central to our product’s success.

• System Architecture: Design and review complex system components and integrations to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Project Leadership: Lead significant projects from inception to deployment, with a strategic impact on the platform.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desirable.
• Experience: At least 5+ years of professional experience in platform engineering or a related role.
• Programming Expertise: Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Testing: Experienced in using Jest for unit and integration tests.
• Database Management: Strong expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience using ORM tools such as MikroORM, Sequelize, or Prisma.
• API Development: Familiarity with GraphQL API design and implementation.
• Frameworks: Experience with NestJS or similar frameworks for building scalable applications.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrates precision and thoroughness in code development, testing, and documentation.
• Hybrid Work Skills: Effective in balancing remote and in-office collaboration with strong communication skills.
• Proactiveness: Ability to take initiative with minimal direction, aligning with team and business objectives.

• Proven experience in architecting and scaling platform systems in cloud-based environments.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API design principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications.
• Experience managing complex technical projects and effectively communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and collaborative teamwork environments.
• Prior experience in mentorship or technical leadership roles.
