Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Bulk or Dry Bulk Logistics Account Manager/Broker Agent at FarmPro. The Account Manager/Broker Agent will be responsible for managing bulk and dry bulk logistics accounts, building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves sales activities such as identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts. You will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of the FarmPro logistics platform among potential shippers in the U.S. Engage the target client profiles, create and implement roadmaps, and manage the sales opportunities pipeline for sustained growth, platform adoption, and ultimately securing and executing load volume.


  • Experience in sales, qualifying and landing new business, primarily agricultural dry bulk shipments
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data
  • Proven experience in account management
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Source, develop and manage carrier capacity for your customer's shipments (using our powerful tools)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • 5+ years of experience in Ag Transport or related industry required (merchandiser, trader, originator, dispatcher, logistics professional etc.)
  • Experience in the agriculture commodity industry, trucking, or brokerage

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

  • Experience in the logistics industry
  • Knowledge of dry bulk logistics
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree in Ag Business or related field
