Senior Backend Engineer - FERO

Our team in Spain is currently seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for talented, self-motivated individuals with strong expertise in AWS and a passion for data.

The Role & Your Responsibilities

Technical Excellence: FERO values innovation and quality, and as a Senior Backend Engineer, your role is at the heart of our mission, focusing on high-performance, scalable, and testable code within our architecture.

Design and Develop: Collaborate with an exceptional team to craft scalable products, focusing on performance, scalability, quality, and testability. You will be at the forefront of innovation, engaging in our RESTful API initiatives, and preparing for exciting future developments.

Performance and Scalability: Utilise cutting-edge technologies to boost system performance and tackle scalability challenges.

Quality and Testability: Uphold the integrity of our codebase through comprehensive test-driven development and continuous integration frameworks.

Innovation: Stay at the leading edge of technology, with a readiness for potential explorations like SDK development and language migration.

What You Must Bring?

• At least 4 years of experience as a Backend Developer, with hands-on expertise in AWS services and infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with Python and its frameworks such as FastAPI, Django.
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Extensive experience designing and working with REST APIs.
• A DevOps mentality, with a willingness to bridge development and operations.
• Working Permit in Spain
