About the position

As an Account Executive at FERO, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our go-to-market success. You’ll identify, engage, and close e-commerce merchants who are ready to unlock more revenue from their checkout experience.

You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from outreach and discovery to deal negotiation and handoff to our implementation team. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to help merchants see (and feel) the measurable impact of FERO.

This is not a passive role. We’re looking for driven, curious, and execution-focused sellers who thrive in fast-moving environments, care deeply about customer outcomes, and want to join a team that’s building something meaningful in e-commerce technology.

Reporting directly to the Co-Founder, you will focus on:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting (yes, generating your own leads will be a crucial part of the role) and follow up on inbound leads
  • Building Trusted Relationship: Key to our success has been our ability to understand pain points, demonstrate subject matter expertise, and solve problems
  • Pipeline Management: Drive the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract, ensuring that we stick to the happy path of the process
  • Sales Metrics Tracking: We love metrics and will jointly monitor weekly and monthly performance metrics such as # of qualified meetings and meeting-to-close ratio
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Product: Every customer conversation yields new insights and we pride ourselves on learning together so by sharing your learnings with other teams, you can influence the direction of where we go as a business

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (i.e. professional services, consulting)
  • Experience in SaaS and/or e-commerce space is a plus
  • A proven track record of closing new business in the €10K–€100K+ ARR range
  • Confident selling to VPs of eCommerce, Heads of Digital, or CTOs
  • Comfortable running both high-velocity and strategic deals
  • A storyteller and problem-solver, who paints outcomes and doesn’t pitch features
  • Based in Amsterdam and available to work on-site
