We’re looking for a Backend Developer (PHP) to help us build and scale our next-generation checkout.

This is not a typical backend role — you’ll work closely with frontend, product, and design to deliver fast, seamless, and high-converting checkout experiences.

• Build and improve backend systems powering checkout flows (PHP)
• Develop and maintain APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Integrate with payment systems, eCommerce platforms, and third-party services
• Work closely with frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability
• Contribute to improving conversion and reducing friction in checkout
• Take ownership of features from idea to production

• 2–5 years of experience in backend or full stack development
• Strong experience with PHP (Symfony or similar frameworks)
• Experience working with APIs (REST or GraphQL)
• Comfortable collaborating with frontend teams (React knowledge is a plus)
• Interest in performance, UX, and product impact
• Experience with eCommerce, payments, or checkout flows is a big plus
