About the position

As our Founding Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in FERO’s go-to-market success. You’ll generate and nurture leads, manage high-impact opportunities, and craft winning strategies to deliver our solutions to e-commerce merchants.

This isn’t a role for passengers. We’re looking for hungry, driven sellers who want full ownership, are obsessed with making an impact, and are excited to build something meaningful from day one.

Reporting directly to the Co-Founder, you will focus on:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting (yes, generating your own leads will be a crucial part of the role) and follow up on inbound leads
  • Building Trusted Relationship: Key to our success has been our ability to understand pain points, demonstrate subject matter expertise, and solve problems
  • Pipeline Management: Drive the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract, ensuring that we stick to the happy path of the process
  • Sales Metrics Tracking: We love metrics and will jointly monitor weekly and monthly performance metrics such as # of qualified meetings and meeting-to-close ratio
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Product: Every customer conversation yields new insights and we pride ourselves on learning together so by sharing your learnings with other teams, you can influence the direction of where we go as a business

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (i.e. professional services, consulting)
  • Experience in SaaS and/or e-commerce space is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful customer relationships when speaking to prospects
  • High motivation and a self-starter attitude that will help you achieve your targets 💪
  • Flexibility and adaptability - things won’t go as planned and we will course correct quickly
  • A results-driven and creative mindset to identify new opportunities and apply new learnings quickly to achieve our ambitious targets
