TL;DR

We're hiring a Visual Design Intern to shape how Figr looks across every surface.

You'll design the visuals that carry Figr's product story: social assets, launch creatives, website graphics, product walkthroughs, and short videos. This is a design role first. Strong taste, an eye for detail, and comfort with AI tools matter most.

You don't need to be great at everything. You do need real design instinct, speed, and the drive to work close to the founders on work that ships.

What's Figr?

Figr is a context-aware AI product agent. It builds a productOS by understanding your product context, design system, and the problem you're solving, then helps teams ship the right UX.

We're building for enterprises and teams working on complex product workflows.

We work out of Bengaluru, backed by Kalaari Capital, Antler, and Google for Startups Accelerator. The bar is high, the pace is fast, and the work compounds. Behind it is a small crew of engineers, designers, and growth folks who care deeply about this and ship at startup speed.

What Cursor did for code, Figr is doing for product work.

We're early, and the next year decides how big this gets. If that's the kind of bet you want to be part of, you'll like it here.

How We Work

We're a small team. You'll get a lot of ownership.

  • Care about craft. Good taste is the whole job.
  • Move fast. The best work is useless if it never ships.
  • Understand users. Don't design in isolation.
  • Use AI well. Not as a shortcut for bad work, but as a way to move faster.
  • No layers of process. Idea to live in the same week.

Your Job in One Line

Design the visuals, videos, and assets that make Figr clear, sharp, and impossible to ignore.

Who We're Looking For

A visual designer who cares deeply about craft.

You should be comfortable designing social assets, launch creatives, website graphics, and product visuals, then recording and editing the walkthroughs and short videos that show Figr in action.

This is a design-first role. Writing clean captions and hooks helps, but your work lives or dies on how it looks and feels.

You'll work closely with the product team and directly with the founders on launches, campaigns, and the visual language of the brand.

What You'll Do

  • Design growth assets: Create high-quality visuals for LinkedIn, X, website pages, ads, product launches and campaigns.
  • Build product visuals: Design graphics, illustrations, and visual explainers that make complex product ideas easy to grasp.
  • Shape the brand: Hold a consistent visual language across every surface Figr shows up on.
  • Create product walkthroughs: Record and edit clean product demos, feature walkthroughs, and short product videos.
  • Edit videos: Work on social videos, launch videos, and simple motion graphics.
  • Run creative end to end: Take an idea from rough concept to finished asset across visuals, motion, and video.

What You Need to Know

  • Design taste: You should care about how things look. Not in a "make it pretty" way. In a "this feels right" way.
  • Design tools: You should be fluent in Figma and comfortable across the Adobe suite. Bonus for motion and 3D.
  • Video editing: You should be able to edit clean videos. Bonus for basic motion graphics or animation.
  • AI tools: You should be excited to use AI tools for design, motion, and creative exploration.
  • Product curiosity: You should be interested in how product teams work and how good software gets designed.

Bonus Points

  • You've shipped launch creatives, product videos, reels, or social content before.
  • You've used tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Blender.
  • You've used AI tools like Midjourney, Nano Banana, Firefly, or Runway.
  • You have a portfolio, design page, YouTube channel, or side project that shows your taste.

What Matters More Than Your Resume

  • You have great taste.
  • You're fast without being careless.
  • You can take a messy idea and turn it into something sharp.
  • You're curious about product and design.
  • You don't wait around for perfect briefs.
  • You can design, edit, and learn what you don't know.

This role is for someone who wants to learn by doing real work, not by watching from the sidelines.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Paid internship with competitive stipend from 40-60K/ month
  • Mentorship from the product, design, and marketing teams.
  • Direct work with the founders.
  • Real ownership across product launches, campaigns, and creative work.
  • Potential full-time role based on performance and fit.
