About the Role

We're seeking a senior backend engineer to develop features and maintain our AWS infrastructure. You'll work with modern TypeScript/Node.js stack while ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop backend features using NestJS & TypeScript
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
• Collaborate on system architecture and technical decisions

Required Experience

• AWS DevOps: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail etc. (5+ years)
• Containerization: Experience with Docker
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform (or another IaC tool)
• Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL (or other relational) databases
• Backend Development: Node.js and TypeScript (5+ years)
• Performance Engineering: Proven ability to identify and resolve system bottlenecks
• Language: Business level proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with NestJS framework, TypeORM
• Experience in front-end development and front-end frameworks
• Ability to carry out simple tasks in a React (Next.js) & Tailwind frontend
• Previous startup/scale-up environment experience
