Folio is empowering the next generation of job-ready students to graduate debt-free and experience-rich. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition and Operations Lead to drive the supply side of our marketplace, ensuring a seamless experience for both job seekers and employers.
This role is perfect for someone with a background in college recruiting or talent acquisition who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about the intersection of operations and marketplace efficiency. You’ll be responsible for sourcing new talent, filling open roles, managing student engagement, and handling marketplace support—all while identifying ways to automate and improve our matching processes. This is a high-volume recruiting role, working to match 50-100 open jobs on the platform at a time.
What You’ll Do
Grow and manage candidate supply – Source new candidates via outbound outreach, headhunting, and partnerships to ensure a steady, high quality pipeline.
Match candidates to roles – Proactively fill open jobs by matching students to opportunities and improving our process for efficiency.
Manage student behavior – Drive student engagement through strategic multi-channel communications; identify opportunities to productize improvements.
Handle platform support – Own the support system, responding directly to student inquiries and escalating customer-related issues as needed.
Optimize and scale operations – Identify bottlenecks in job matching and student engagement processes, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and automate workflows.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in college recruiting or talent acquisition (experience working with early-career talent is a plus).
Strong relationship-building skills and ability to engage students and employers at scale.
Experience managing high-volume recruiting pipelines and driving candidate engagement.
A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering great experiences to both students and employers.
Operational and process-driven approach – ability to scale marketplace operations efficiently.
Data-driven decision-making – comfortable analyzing engagement metrics and optimizing workflows based on insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills – ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and leadership.
