Job Description
Role Summary
As a LazMall BD Acquisition Associate, you will be at the forefront of expanding LazMall brand portfolio by identifying and onboarding high-potential partners. You’ll act as a key connector between prospective brands, internal teams, and platform stakeholders. Your main responsibility is to drive growth by sourcing and acquiring new brands, understanding their business needs, and crafting tailored e-commerce solutions that position them for success on Lazada. This role demands strong commercial instincts, a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. LazMall Seller Acquisition:
• Acquire new high-potential LazMall brands by actively working through the provided lead bank, with a focus on top-priority segments (P0, P1) to ensure quality onboarding.
• Conduct daily research and lead generation, targeting top retailers, local SMEs, and international brands - particularly in the FMCG and Electronics categories.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Business Development Lead to manage lead pipelines and execute company projects.
• Take ownership of the LazMall brand pitching proposal deck, customizing content to fit each brand’s profile and strategic needs.
• Lead pitching sessions with key brands to introduce LazMall opportunities and build strong business partnerships.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including Platform Governance and General Operations, to align on targeted brand hunting and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Manage the end-to-end LazMall onboarding process to ensure high-quality execution and adherence to platform standards.
2. Partnership management:
• Lead or support partner relationship activities from identification, negotiation, onboarding to performance evaluation.
• Manage and grow strategic partnerships with Lazada partners, local authorities, solution providers.
• Lead offline events with Government Affairs and PR team to discover and engage with offline markets.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business development or partnership role.
• Strong experience in client relationship management with a proven ability to identify client needs and maintain long-term relationships.
• Proactive, result-driven, and business-savvy mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical thinking and strategic planning capabilities.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
• Experience in fast-paced or high-pressure environments is a plus.

• 4-5 years of experience in BD, seller operations, or e-commerce; experience with seller onboarding is a plus
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with e-commerce ecosystems and seller behavior
• Experience managing outsourced operations (BPO) is a big advantage
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce, Looker)
• Good presentation skill in both Vietnamese & English
