About Glīd

Glīd is redefining freight mobility through an integrated Road-to-Rail logistics platform which provides Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS). We work at the intersection of rail, ports, first-mile trucking, and industrial supply chains to unlock underutilized infrastructure, improve freight economics, and reduce operational friction across the first mile logistics ecosystem.

Texas represents one of the most strategically important freight markets in North America. We are building a commercial team capable of structuring complex, infrastructure-aligned freight partnerships grounded in operational and financial discipline.

Role Summary

As the Mobility Solutions Manager, you will be a full-cycle commercial sales leader with deep logistics expertise. You will own customer engagements from discovery through use-case analysis and deal close, and will be responsible for driving structured revenue growth across rail, trucking/3PL, and port logistics channels. Your analysis, industry credibility, and commercial execution will expand Glīd’s footprint in Texas freight markets.

You will be expected to:

  • Understand rail operations, port throughput dynamics, drayage constraints, and freight lane economics at a working level.

  • Identify where Glīd’s Road-to-Rail MaaS model can create measurable operational and financial value.

  • Build defensible ROI analyses that demonstrate cost savings, throughput gains, emissions reductions, and asset optimization.

  • Present data-backed commercial cases to logistics operators, stakeholders, and executive decision-makers.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategic Market Development

  • Develop and execute a Texas-focused commercial strategy targeting:

    • Regional & short-line railroads

    • Port authorities and terminal operators

    • Drayage providers and first-mile carriers

    • 3PLs and freight brokers

    • Rail-served shippers and industrial operators

  • Map freight corridors, identify high-value lanes, and prioritize accounts based on infrastructure fit and commercial feasibility.

  • Build relationships across operational, commercial, and executive levels within target organizations.

2. Freight Economics & ROI Development

A core expectation of this role is the ability to build and defend ROI models tied to Glīd’s MaaS solutions.

You will:

  • Develop detailed financial models analyzing:

    • Lane-level cost structures

    • First-mile vs. intermodal economics

    • Asset utilization improvements

    • Modal shift savings

    • Emissions and regulatory advantages

  • Quantify customer value in terms of:

    • Reduced cost per load

    • Improved dwell times

    • Increased network reliability

    • Capital efficiency

    • Operational resilience

  • Translate operational improvements into executive-ready ROI cases.

  • Present financial models confidently to CFOs, COOs, and logistics directors.

You must be comfortable building models from scratch, stress-testing assumptions, and explaining sensitivity scenarios.

3. Full-Cycle Deal Ownership

  • Lead structured discovery conversations grounded in operational realities.

  • Diagnose infrastructure friction points within rail, road, and port ecosystems.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations to align solution feasibility with commercial commitments.

  • Build proposals, negotiate commercial frameworks, and close strategic partnerships.

  • Manage pipeline discipline within HubSpot with high forecasting accuracy.

4. Executive Communication & Commercial Materials

  • Create polished, data-driven executive presentations using PowerPoint and/or Canva.

  • Present structured deployment strategies, financial outcomes, and risk mitigation frameworks.
