The Clinical Nurse in Post Anesthesia Care provides compassionate patient care, ensuring a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

• Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests, documenting as required.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
• Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
• Collaborates with the care team to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
  
  

Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate, or bachelor's degree, NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
