WHY WE EXIST

Money should move as easily as data.

It doesn't today. Technology is finally catching up to the need — customers expect instant, global, programmable money. HIFI exists to fix that. Our mission is to make money programmable by default, and to give developers and businesses the tools to move value at software speed.

We're rebuilding the financial plumbing of the internet from the ground up.

THE ROLE

As a Crypto Card Program Manager at HIFI, you will own the end-to-end design, launch, and scaling of our stablecoin-powered debit card programs. You will operate at the intersection of card networks, sponsor banks, and stablecoin issuers, turning complex infrastructure into a seamless and globally usable payment experience.

You will manage key partners including banks, processors, and networks while architecting transaction flows, settlement/authorization logic, and card unit economics. Your responsibility is to ensure every transaction is reliable, compliant, and capital-efficient at scale.

Working closely with engineering, compliance, and product teams, you will define requirements, launch new capabilities, and continuously optimize performance across the board.

If you touch it, you own it. That’s how we work.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

  • Design and launch stablecoin-powered debit card programs from zero to scale

  • Build the end-to-end transaction flow from authorization to settlement across card networks, bank rails, and stablecoins

  • Develop real-time stablecoin debit card transaction monitoring and authorization orchestration systems

  • Establish and scale partnerships with sponsor banks, processors, and card networks

  • Create operational frameworks for fraud, disputes, and risk management specialized for stablecoin powered debit cards

  • Continuously improve approval rates, transaction reliability, and unit economics while preserving users’ benefits

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years of experience in card issuing and managing experience

  • Strong understanding of card networks, authorization, card-associated risks, settlement flows, and program management fundamentals

  • Experience working with sponsor banks, processors, or card networks

  • Familiarity with stablecoins, crypto wallets, or on-chain payment systems

  • Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, and product teams

  • You move fast, communicate clearly, and raise the alarm when something isn't right

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience launching or managing a card program from zero to scale

  • Familiarity with Visa Direct or Mastercard Send, including AFT and OCT flows

  • Prior early-stage startup experience — you know what it means to build a design system from zero
