About the Role:

HIFI is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on our developer platform. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for overhauling HIFI’s Developer Dashboard. The Developer Dashboard wraps HIFI's API endpoints and gives customers immediate access to the value of HIFI's rails without having to invest any developer hours to integrate HIFIs APIs. HIFI is primarily an APIs-as-a-service company. And the Developer Dashboard was initially created to enable users to generate API keys and handle billing. Over time, more and more customers have begun using the dashboard to create users, add user bank accounts, and execute payments without having to use HIFI’s REST APIs. As a result, the Developer Dashboard has become a key stepping stone for HIFI's customers, serving as the fastest way for new customers to experience the underlying value of HIFI's cross-border payment APIs and playing a key role in the customer’s purchasing decision. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will have the unique opportunity to own this product and play a major role in HIFI’s trajectory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Engage with dashboard-centric customers to understand user workflows and implement features based on feedback.
• Conduct user testing sessions and triage frontend bugs to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Set up and manage user activity monitoring tools like Hotjar to gain insights into user behavior and inform improvements.
• Implement and maintain integrations with billing and accounting software for seamless user onboarding and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with the product designer to implement and refine UI/UX designs that prioritize usability and aesthetics.
• Develop and maintain new features for HIFI’s Developer Dashboard, including monitoring and reporting tools that enhance customer workflows.
• Contribute to the architecture and functionality of HIFI’s core API-as-a-Service product
• Contribute to the design and development of new API features that align with customer needs
• Provide feedback and ideas for improving the APIs-as-a-Service product based on hands-on implementation experience and customer interactions
• Build and enforce best-in-class security measures to protect user accounts and data.
• Maintain and optimize the dashboard's technical infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• Advocate for customer-centric product development, shaping the dashboard roadmap based on evolving needs and trends.
• Act as a key contributor to HIFI's product strategy by ensuring alignment between the dashboard and overall goals.
• Update and manage the Swagger API documentation to reflect the latest changes and improvements to HIFI’s APIs.
• Create and maintain guides, tutorials, and other developer-facing materials to ensure clear communication of features and use cases.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of full-stack experience
• Is someone who is high-agency and high-output, making use of every resource available to them to unblock themselves and ship products.
• Will have experience in fintech, building APIs-as-a-service, high-growth tech, payments, and/or blockchain experience, but not required
• Enjoys being an individual contributor who loves spending their day in deep work as opposed to being in meetings and managing people.
• Will be proficient in understanding HIFI’s core API code to implement features in the Developer Dashboard product.
• Will be user-obsessed, in order to deliver an aesthetic, intuitive user experience to the dashboard user.
