  • Support the development of policies, procedures, and governance documentation aligned to current regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
  • Help prepare for and manage external audits, regulatory exams, and internal testing.
  • Conduct horizon scanning and regulatory analysis to ensure the program is proactive and responsive to changes in the global compliance landscape.
  • Mentor junior team members and support hiring, training, and performance management efforts across the FCC function.

What You Will Bring to HIFI:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CAMS, CFCS, CFE) preferred
  • 8 + years of experience in financial crime compliance, with operational and strategic ownership of multiple FCC domains (KYC, KYB, Screening, TMS, Fraud, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and global regulatory frameworks including BSA/AML, OFAC, FinCEN, FATF, and Travel Rule requirements
  • Hands-on experience with compliance platforms (e.g.,Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Actimize, Jumio, Socure, Elliptic, etc.)
  • Proven leadership in managing investigations, driving program enhancements, and interfacing with regulators and banking partners
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • U.S. work authorization required — NYC-based is mandatory

We have no hard roles about in-person work, however most of our company works together in our Flatiron office and recognizes it allows us to move faster.

At HIFI, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team. While you may not meet all of our requirements, we’d encourage you to apply if you meet the majority of our expectations. You may be a great fit for this role or another role in our team.
