We are looking for two Software Engineers to join Homebase’s engineering team. While the core responsibilities remain the same, each role will contribute to a different project:

  • Customer Support & Enablement: Help build an intelligent assistant to support internal and external customers, enhance admin tooling, and drive AI-driven efficiencies.

  • Team Management & Scheduling: Play a pivotal role in advancing Homebase’s core scheduling capabilities, improving performance, and delivering an unparalleled customer experience.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with at least one modern programming language (Ruby preferred!)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • A strong passion for software engineering, curiosity, and a growth mindset

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • A proactive approach to learning and adaptability in new technical domains

You will make an impact by:

  • Design and develop scalable software solutions that align with Homebase’s mission of helping small businesses and building unstoppable teams

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement new features

  • Work on major initiatives such as chatbot agent integration, admin tool development, scheduling enhancements, and AI-driven automation

  • Maintain high-quality coding standards through code reviews and testing

  • Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and contribute to performance optimizations
