About Huddled

Huddled is an early-stage startup building a purpose-built student communication and collaboration platform designed to integrate into the university ecosystem.

In 2023 Huddled was backed by Antler in our first round of funding, this propelled our growth to achieve major milestones in customer acquisition, trial testing and product development. We are starting with student communication but aim to grow into a tool that supports a student at all stages of their student experience and beyond.

Huddled’s Traits

Huddled sticks to three core traits in which we have built our company. We ensure we hold ourselves and our products against these three traits. However, we also strive to have other stakeholders resonate with these traits.

Do you resonate with our traits:

  • Inclusive Communities - Provide a safe place for everyone to feel a sense of belonging
  • Unique Initiative - Being proactive with change, taking charge of our own experiences and futures
  • Prideful Ambitious - Having goals and dreams and not being afraid to share them

Purpose of the Student Advisory Board

The purpose of the student advisory board is to provide ongoing and relevant guidance for the Huddled product and its team. It’s to get the insider scoop from students all across Australia, from all different backgrounds, that can shape how students experience University here in Australia and the world.

The student advisory board aims to be a tight-knit collaborative brain trust that can tell the Huddled makers the truth when they need to hear it.

Our Expectations

As a student advisory member, you will be expected to attend an online board meeting once every two months (generally).

You will also be expected to use Huddled and provide ongoing feedback about the platform and how you deem fit its solution to your own student experience problems.

What You Can Expect

You can expect frequent communication, collaboration and connection between us and you, both individually and as a board. Additionally, an invitation to any Huddled-related events will be extended as optional and non-compulsory.

You can also expect us to talk about you! Building your personal brand is important, and a reason why you may choose to apply. So of course, we will support this however we can.

Final Things

This role is voluntary, and unpaid and will require an advisory agreement to be signed.

The application process will include a video application and an interview.

We're looking for current tertiary students, enrolled at TAFE, University or a Specialist course/diploma through a Registered Training Organisation.
