Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, preferably with experience working in a startup environment. Proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• General Ledger Management: Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and categorized.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Month-end and Year-end Close: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including tax reporting and submissions.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure proper fund management.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Audit Support: Assist in both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial data, support cross-functional initiatives, and provide financial guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in working for a startup or high-growth company is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
