Job Description: Avionics Hardware Engineer
Position Overview:
- Are you a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Hardware Design Engineer? 
- If you are, don’t miss out on a terrific chance to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of propulsion, robotics and guidance subsystems for the next generation of satellites rolling out of India. 
- You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to ensure the development of robotic, guidance, propulsion, and other satellite subsystems. 
- You will develop hardware and Interfaces for all of those subsystems and see them come alive both on and off the planet! 
Responsibilities:
- Interact with the multiple subsystem teams to gather embedded systems-related requirements and analyze them thoroughly. 
- Design and develop hardware considering the form-factor and harsh environmental constraints of Space. 
- Take ownership of component selection, design analysis, schematicS, layout design, prototyping, board bring-up, debugging, verification and validation, and design documentation 
- Work in collaboration with firmware and checkout engineers to design, troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues that arise during integration and validation. 
- Design solutions adhering to standards that are followed for EMC, Space Radiation Susceptibility, Thermals, Vacuum, Vibration & Shock. 
Must-Have Skills:
- A Minimum 2+ Years of Relevant Experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 1+ Years of Relevant Experience with Master’s Degree in the related engineering fields. 
- Relevant experience in Embedded Systems and Real-Time Systems development. 
- Proficiency with any of the professional CAD softwares such as Altium Designer. 
- Familiarity with Hardware Architecture Development, Schematic Design and Calculations. 
- Basic Proficiency in Python, Embedded C or relevant scripting languages for understanding and analyzing firmware. 
- Experience working with DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Power Supplies, Function Generators. 
- Experience working with Power Supply Designs, ADCs, DACs, Switching Circuits, Analog Amplifiers and Filters, Microcontrollers. 
- Proficiency with communication protocols and physical layers such as CAN, RS485, UART, SPI, I2C, etc. 
- Experience with git version control. 
- ‘Can do’ attitude to solve problems. 
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering or Science (masters). 
- Familiarity with Industry Standards for Aerospace / Automotive Electronics and Electrical Systems 
- Proficiency with communication protocols and physical layers such as SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, etc. 
- Proficiency with PCB Thermal Analysis Software/Tools. 
- Experience working with MDOs, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
