Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Product Tester - Financial Due Diligence (FDD). The Product Tester will evaluate new and existing platform features by executing test cases, validating financial and operational data workflows, and providing structured feedback to improve functionality and user experience. Responsibilities include documenting issues, reproducing defects, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure testing coverage aligns with real-world FDD use cases. The role also involves communicating with internal stakeholders, supporting customer-facing teams with product-related questions, and contributing to training materials or walkthroughs that help advisors adopt new features. The Product Tester will work flexible hours aligned to project timelines and release cycles.

Qualifications

  • Strong Product Testing skills, including designing and executing Test Cases relevant to financial due diligence workflows.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills, with experience conveying findings to product, engineering, and client-facing teams.
  • Background in Customer Service or user support, with the ability to understand and advocate for advisor needs and pain points.
  • Experience contributing to or delivering Training, onboarding, or demo sessions for software products.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance, financial due diligence, or transaction advisory services is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working with data-driven tools and dashboards; ability to spot inconsistencies or usability issues in financial outputs.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment on a contract basis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
