KIIP is a fast-growing organization of passionate individuals who are breaking down the silo walls in the healthcare packaging and sterility assurance value chain - from medical device manufacturers through to the end-user and healthcare professionals. Coming out of J&J’s Kilmer Conference, a group of eight people formed KIIP to lead the way to innovations in medical device packaging into the future - while breaking barriers between the groups in the sterility value chain to point of use. KIIP Vision: Improving patient outcomes by advancing healthcare packaging science, engineering, and understanding. KIIP Mission: Challenging the status quo by facilitating collaboration, sharing knowledge, and promoting innovation and education throughout the healthcare packaging value chain. Executive Committee: Chair - Jennifer Benolken, CPPL; Vice Chair - Rod Patch; Treasurer - Dhuanne Dodrill; Secretary - Ralph Basile. Programs: Breaking Bad Biases (formerly LSTU) - John Logar, Jen Benolken; Last 100 Yards - Jennifer Zeck, Hanna Harris, Teri Meadow; Aseptic Opening and Handling - Sarah Rosenblum, Malinda Elammari; Sustainability and End of Life - Kiley Djupstrom, Amit Limaye. Committees: KIIP'ed - Tanya Magana, Pieter Van Gool; Membership - Kat Olson, Seema Momin, Tyler Boyd; Communications and Branding - Kennedy Peacock; Funding - Kiley Djupstrom, Chris Sarantos. Negative or inflammatory comments will not be tolerated. This is a place for people to share, collaborate, and build upon others' ideas regarding sterile packaging - getting it sterile and keeping it sterile to point of use. Thank you and keep the momentum going! We can’t wait to see what this group brings!
