Nordics Senior Sales

Your mission

As our new Nordics Senior Sales, you will drive Klimate’s commercial growth in the Nordics by winning new business and managing key existing accounts. You will continue to build on a existing repeatable Nordic GTM motion, positioning Klimate as a trusted partner, and deliver predictable revenue growth.
You will sit within the Sales team and report directly to Erik Wihlborg, our CCO.

About Klimate

At Klimate, we enable companies pursuing real climate action to take responsibility for the emissions they can’t avoid. The world talks a lot about net-zero, but most companies struggle to know what to do once reductions are no longer enough. That’s where we come in. We are a science-led business with real experts guiding companies through the world of carbon removal and how they can safely invest in taking CO₂ out of the atmosphere. Our solution combines expertise, guidance and software to help companies understand what’s real, what works, what it costs, and how to do it credibly.
Founded in 2020, we are now a tight-knit team of just over 20 people from 13 nationalities united by a passion for scaling solutions to the climate crisis. We move quickly when it matters and focus on sharing ownership along the way. Besides working in teams we enable that ownership in squads making it possible for all employees to lead areas, they are passionate about. We value deep collaboration and working side-by-side in our central Copenhagen office, from where we support leading clients including Storebrand, Dalberg, OC&C, and many others.

What you'll do

In the first 3–6 months, you will:
Become fluent in Klimate’s value propositions and confidently pitch our solutions to Nordic prospects and existing clients.
Start engaging directly with clients and prospects, building an early-stage pipeline and identifying promising opportunities.
Gain a solid understanding of Klimate’s GTM strategy, ICPs, and the Nordic CDR market landscape.
As you grow into the role, you will:
Own and drive the full sales cycle for key Nordic accounts, including new business, renewals, and expansion.
Take ownership of mid market and enterprise accounts in the Nordics.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline and forecast aligned with Nordic revenue targets.
External representation, relationship-building, and local market presence.

Requirements and skills

Must-have skills and experience

3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a proven track record of managing complex sales cycles from prospecting to close.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline, including forecasting, opportunity qualification, and achieving revenue targets.
Experience selling sustainability, climate, or carbon-related solutions, or working in a closely related domain.
Strong ability to work independently and own the full sales cycle end-to-end.
Fluency in English and one Nordic language.
Willingness to travel 15–20 business days per year.

Nice-to-have

Experience working in an international, fast-changing or scale-up environment.
Experience with carbon dioxide removal (CDR) or voluntary carbon markets.
Interest in climate, sustainability or carbon markets is highly valued.
Speaking more than one Nordic language.
Experience working with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) and maintaining strong sales hygiene and forecasting discipline.
