Role Summary

The Head of Operations & Supply Chain at Koobz will lead the development and execution of strategies to scale our manufacturing operations while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. This role requires expertise in building and scaling a state-of-the-art factory, optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes, and maintaining rigorous safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record of success in managing large-scale operations and logistics within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Factory Setup & Scale: Overseeing the planning and execution of the gigafactory build-out, including location scouting, vendor selection, and equipment procurement, to ensure scalability and operational efficiency.
• Supply Chain & Logistics: Developing and implementing a comprehensive end-to-end supply chain strategy, covering materials sourcing, inventory management, and distribution to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all operations adhere to relevant industry regulations, including OSHA standards (U.S.), environmental guidelines, and product safety regulations, to maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.

Ideal Background

• Experience in large-scale manufacturing, ideally within footwear, apparel, or high-volume consumer goods industries.
• Proven track record of successfully optimizing supply chain processes and managing vendor relationships to drive cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies focused on improving operational efficiency and quality.
