Job Details
Title of Role: Data Science / Machine Learning Engineer (First Hire)
Location: Remote role within the Asia timezone
Responsibilities:
Design and develop our MVP and beyond, working directly with the CTO and other teams
Create machine learning systems and AI software to automate predictive models
Apply ML algorithms and tools to transform data science prototypes
Utilize sentiment analysis and categorization to extract useful information from unstructured data
Solve complex problems using multi-layered data sets
Develop ML algorithms to analyze large volumes of historical data and make predictions
Perform tests, statistical analysis, and interpret test results
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
More than 5 years of experience in software development, data science, and machine learning
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency with Python and R code writing
Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
Experience with deploying cloud ML systems based on AWS, GCP, or similar
In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms
Traits and Abilities:
Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
