What you'll focus on
  • Manage the billing cycle for assigned markets, including monthly invoicing and dispute resolution with the Customer Success team.
  • Oversee reverse billing to vendors and address vendor inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Success and Operations) to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Drive process improvement and ensure data quality within your area of responsibility.
  • Prepare and present Revenue and Cost reports to the Senior Finance Manager, analyzing fluctuations and providing clear explanations.
  • Assist with month-end close procedures, including necessary accrual adjustments.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger through tasks such as preparing journal entries, executing closing tasks, and generating periodic reports.
  • Own the P&L for assigned countries and manage accrued revenue and cost of sales on the balance sheet.
  • Support the audit season by providing necessary details to auditors regarding revenue and cost of sales.
What you bring
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, interpreting income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Working knowledge of cost accounting principles and methodologies for accurate cost allocation and expense tracking.
  • Proven ability to conduct variance analysis, identify discrepancies, and investigate root causes.
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills to address critical financial issues effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience with various ERP/Accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Quickbooks, or Xero.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and draw meaningful insights.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and identifying errors.
  • Ability to identify financial challenges, analyze root causes, and develop solutions to improve revenue and cost management.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines, particularly during financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting periods.
  • Clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal) to convey financial information, present findings, and collaborate effectively.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities, business needs, and market conditions impacting financial strategies.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in financial practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
