What you'll focus on
As the Global Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Locad’s market presence across multiple regions worldwide.

Business Development:
  • Identify and engage potential clients across assigned global markets, focusing on industries aligned with Locad’s core offerings.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, regional market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies tailored to different regional markets to achieve revenue goals.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across diverse geographies.
Sales Management:
  • Own the entire sales cycle: from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, closing, and account handover.
  • Manage a healthy, global sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups, accurate forecasting, and proactive opportunity management.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to align market strategies and customer solutions.
  • Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and feedback to the leadership team, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Attain deep expertise in Locad’s SaaS and logistics solutions and clearly articulate value propositions to global audiences.
  • Tailor product messaging to fit the specific needs, pain points, and opportunities of different regions and industries.
  • Stay informed about global logistics and supply chain trends, evolving technologies, and competitive solutions to effectively position Locad as a market leader.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. (MBA is a plus.)
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in SaaS, logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain sectors.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in diverse or international markets.
  • Strong global business acumen with an understanding of different cultural, economic, and business practices.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence across senior leadership levels.
  • High degree of independence, self-motivation, and a growth mindset suited for fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
