The Role

We're seeking a Frontend Engineer to own and evolve our customer-facing dashboard product. You'll be responsible for building intuitive, responsive interfaces that help restaurant owners and managers seamlessly interact with their AI phone system. This role requires both strong frontend expertise and solid backend understanding to deliver end-to-end solutions.

What You'll Do

• Own the development and evolution of our customer dashboard built in React Native/Expo
• Design and implement responsive, mobile-first interfaces that work seamlessly across devices
• Collaborate closely with our backend systems (Node.js, Fastify, Kysely, PostgreSQL)
• Handle projects end-to-end, from concept to deployment
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and product direction
• Work directly with leadership to shape the user experience as we scale

Required Skills & Experience

Required

• Strong proficiency in React Native and Expo framework
• Expert-level knowledge of CSS, Tailwind, HTML, and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of mobile design principles and reactive web pages
• Experience with mobile app development and deployment processes
• Solid experience with Node.js and backend development concepts
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, and server-side architecture
• Ability to integrate frontend applications with backend services
• Senior level experience (4+ years in similar roles)
• Strong eye for design and user experience
• Proven ability to handle projects independently from start to finish

Preferred:

• Design engineering experience or strong design skills
• Experience with Kysely, PostgreSQL, or Fastify
• Previous startup or high-growth company experience
