We are Mapping Intelligence Technology (https://mappingintell.ai/), a Singapore-based startup building a universal AI platform that gives legacy industrial software (PLM, ALM, ERP, MES, etc.) AI capabilities in 30 minutes. Our mission is to accelerate AI transformation for automotive and industrial manufacturers.

We are looking for a Co-Founder & CTO to design and build the core platform infrastructure. You will own the end-to-end system architecture and lead development of the backend core modules, as well as build the entire engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture: Design and implement the core platform in Python / Node.js
• MCP Connector Layer: Build a plugin-based connector system to integrate legacy industrial software (APIs, databases, UI automation)
• Enterprise Orchestrator: Develop the orchestration layer that coordinates multiple AI agents and manages data flow across systems
• API Design: Create robust APIs for frontend, customers and third-party integrations
• Collaboration: Work closely with AI engineers to define clean interfaces between platform infrastructure and AI agents

Requirements

• Previous startup experience or a strong desire to join an early-stage company and architect a product from 0 → 1
• 3+ years backend development in Python and/or Node.js
• Proven track record in system architecture design
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise software (APIs, databases, RPA)
• Proficient with Git; familiar with FastAPI / Django / Express and RESTful API design
• Expert in PostgreSQL / MongoDB and database design
• Comfortable with Docker and deployment pipelines
• Excellent English (written & spoken) for daily work and team collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field

Nice to have

• Browser-extension development (Chrome / Firefox)
• Experience with Jira or similar tools (Codebeamer, team center etc.)
• Work history at a system-integrator company
• Knowledge of automotive / manufacturing IT systems
• AI / LLM application development background
