Namma Yatri, built and operated by Moving Tech, is the tech and strategy partner for Bharat Taxi. Namma Yatri, the world's largest open mobility platform, runs community-led mobility platforms like Namma Yatri (Bengaluru), Yatri Sathi (Kolkata), Chennai One, Odisha Yatri, and Kerala Savari, and is now powering Bharat Taxi with the same open, people-first DNA. These platforms, pioneers of a zero-commission, have completed 130M+ trips with driver earnings of over ₹2,200 Cr.

Bharat Taxi aims to be the Amul for Mobility - a people-first, cooperative-based taxi initiative backed by the Government of India - Ministry of Cooperation that offers safe, affordable, and dignified mobility at scale. It brings drivers together on a common platform so they can earn fairly while serving riders with trust and transparency.

Together, Bharat Taxi and Namma Yatri are building a multi-city, multi-modal mobility network that serves Samaaj (society), Sarkar (government), and Bazaar (business), aligned with open digital public infrastructure.

About the Role

As Growth & Program Manager, you will:

● Build directions for promotion and marketing of Bharat Taxi amongst customers and own the growth and revenue targets for Bharat Taxi in Gujarat

● Lead program delivery on the ground. Drive growth, stakeholder management, and government relationships as key levers for product success

● Act as the primary bridge between Bharat Taxi leadership and the Namma Yatri Operations and engineering teams

● Identify and enable partnerships and regional collaborations to drive growth and business scaleup

● Own the product experience for Bharat Taxi (anchored in Gujarat)

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role combining business growth, program management, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Scale-up

○ Own state-level growth and revenue targets for Bharat Taxi across Gujarat, with clear monthly, quarterly and annual plans

○ Work on content and growth strategy for marketing and promoting the brand across the state

○ Design and execute district-wise and city-wise scale-up strategies, starting from Ahmedabad and expanding across urban and semi-urban markets

○ Identify and unlock high-potential demand clusters (airports, railway stations, commercial hubs, tourism circuits, colleges and institutions etc.)

○ Plan and execute on-ground growth programs including awareness drives, pilot launches, and city activations

○ Run structured growth experiments (pricing, supply-demand balancing, operational playbooks) and scale what works

○ Track key business metrics (rides, conversion, retention, supply demand ratio etc.) and take corrective actions to stay on target

● Stakeholder Management

○ Build and maintain strong working relationships with Bharat Taxi leadership, state and district government officials, and cooperative bodies

○ Act as the single point of coordination for Bharat Taxi in Gujarat across:

■ Government stakeholders

■ Local partners and vendors

■ Driver unions and cooperatives

○ Represent Bharat Taxi and Namma Yatri in official meetings, reviews, and field discussions

○ Align multiple stakeholders around shared goals of driver welfare, public good, and sustainable mobility

○ Work closely with Bharat Taxi leadership to ensure policy, program, and execution alignment at the state level

○ Coordinate with internal teams (Ops, Tech, Product, Marketing) to ensure commitments made to stakeholders are delivered on ground

● Product Ownership & User Empathy

○ Own the end-to-end product experience for Bharat Taxi in Gujarat—across both drivers and riders and ensure best in class customer experience and retention

○ Develop deep empathy by spending time on ground with:

■ Drivers (onboarding, first rides, earnings experience)

■ Riders (booking, pricing, trust, service reliability) to build insights to be used for marketing

○ Identify product gaps, friction points, and local needs, and translate them into clear product requirements and feedback loops

○ Work closely with the product and engineering teams to:

■ Prioritise Gujarat-specific needs

■ Support pilots, feature rollouts, and iterations

○ Champion a driver-first, people-first product mindset while balancing scale, reliability, and revenue goals

Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For

● Strong problem solving and structured thinking

● Comfort with data - dashboards, metrics, decision-making from numbers

● Experience in growth and marketing, program management, account management etc.

● Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

● High ownership, bias to action, and comfort with ambiguity

● Interest in impact, mobility, public good, and driver empowerment

● High on empathy and EQ to balance priorities of multiple stakeholders

● Experience working with tech and engineering teams

Bonus Points

● MBA from top tier B-School

● Experience in mobility, community-led initiatives, cooperatives, public transport, government programs, or platform businesses would be good to have

● Experience launching or scaling businesses in new cities or regions
