About the Role
Join us in transforming Chennai's public transportation experience. This hybrid role combines
digital communication strategy with hands-on field engagement, working directly with public
transport operators and management to improve user activation and adoption.
What You'll Do
User Activation & Engagement
● Drive initiatives to boost user activation, repeat usage, and feature adoption
● Identify onboarding friction points and execute communication-led solutions
● Track campaign performance and share insights with the team
Communication Execution
● Draft and coordinate social media campaigns and push notifications
● Ensure messaging is clear, user-friendly, and goal-aligned
● Maintain communication calendars and support A/B testing initiatives
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution
● Use internal tools to track user issues and activation trends
● Coordinate with teams to ensure timely issue closure
● Identify patterns and suggest improvements based on data and field feedback
Field Engagement & Stakeholder Management
● Work with public transport operators and management to drive platform adoption
● Support onboarding, resolve operational queries, and gather frontline feedback
● Conduct field visits to transportation hubs and execute engagement programs across Chennai
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
● Bilingual fluency in Tamil and English (reading, writing, speaking)
● Comfortable with extensive field visits across Chennai
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Graduate/final-year student/recent graduate (any discipline)
● Basic proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel
● High ownership and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Nice-to-Haves

● Ability to simplify complex information
● Interest in urban mobility or civic tech
