Noxus is the Process Intelligence layer for the modern enterprise. The first generation of process intelligence could only read how work moved through an organization. Noxus reads and writes. It surfaces how high-stakes processes actually run, then deploys governed AI to execute them inside the systems where work already happens.
Enterprises in regulated sectors (financial services, healthcare, utilities, retail) use Noxus to convert process understanding into deployed AI labor, with governance, observability, and human oversight built into every flow. We operate across the UK and Portugal, with engineering in Lisbon and a client base that already includes some of Iberia's largest banks, insurers, healthcare groups, and utilities.
The RoleWe are hiring a Lead Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship with our most important accounts in the Portuguese market. This is the senior technical seat on the front line. You carry an enterprise account from first discovery through deployment and expansion, and you build with your own hands.
You will partner with our Deployment Lead on infrastructure and our Account Management Lead on growth, but you set the technical direction for the accounts you own. You map how a client's processes actually run, design the flows that automate them, and stand up the implementation on the Noxus platform and SDK. You are the person a CIO or Head of Operations trusts in the room, and the person who then goes and builds what was promised.
This role suits someone who has sold and delivered enterprise software at scale, a hyperscaler solutions architect or a lead from a top-tier consultancy or systems integrator, who already holds relationships inside Portugal's largest enterprises, and who wants to go back to building rather than only advising.
What You Will OwnTechnical pre-sales and solution design. Lead discovery with enterprise prospects, translate operational problems into Process Intelligence outcomes, and design the architecture that proves value. You own the technical narrative from first meeting to signed deployment.
Hands-on implementation. Build the flows, decision trees, and automation nodes yourself. You are not handing requirements to someone else. You are the primary builder on the accounts you lead.
Account leadership in Portugal. Serve as the senior technical owner for target accounts across financial services, healthcare, utilities, and retail. Use your existing network to open and deepen relationships, and act as the trusted technical authority across the lifecycle.
Enterprise deployment. Drive infrastructure readiness with the Deployment Lead: deployment topology, SSO/SAML, identity, and the security posture regulated clients require. On-prem and BYOK configurations are standard, not exceptions.
Custom integration. Write the scripts and build the custom nodes that bridge Noxus to legacy enterprise systems where no clean path exists.
Product feedback. Be the first user of new capability and the sharpest internal voice on what enterprise deployment actually requires.
What You Bring- 6+ years in solutions architecture, implementation engineering, or technical consulting, ideally at a hyperscaler (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) or a leading consultancy or systems integrator.
- An existing network inside Portugal's large enterprises, with credibility at the technical-decision-maker level. You can open doors we cannot.
- Genuine hands-on ability. Strong Python, fluency with REST/JSON APIs and event-driven architecture, and the instinct to build rather than delegate. You read and write code to make systems talk to each other.
- The ability to move between a boardroom and a build environment in the same day, translating abstract operational needs into deployed technical reality.
- Fluent Portuguese and English.
- Comfort operating where the answer is not documented. You find the path.
- Direct relationships with target accounts in Portuguese banking, insurance, healthcare, utilities, or retail.
- Deployment experience in regulated industries.
- Experience with workflow automation or logic-based flow builders.
- SAML, SSO, and enterprise identity management.
- Seed-stage or high-growth startup experience.
Ownership. You run the technical relationship for the accounts that define our Portuguese market. The flows you build run inside major enterprises, and your work maps directly to revenue and retention.
Altitude. You sit between infrastructure and growth leadership with a full view of how an enterprise software company scales, and the autonomy to shape it.
Building again. If you have spent years architecting on slides or governing someone else's delivery, this is the return to hands-on work, on a platform defining a new category.
Compensation. €70,000 to €100,000 base depending on experience, plus meaningful equity at the seed stage and a customized equipment setup.
