About the role
Enterprise pilots live or die on technical execution. As Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical voice in every pilot — scoping integrations, running proofs-of-concept, and helping security and platform teams get Obiguard enforcing policy in production. You sit at the intersection of sales, engineering, and the customer. This is a forward-deployed role — you may be deployed on-site at client offices for stretches of up to three weeks at a time for scoping sessions, POCs, and security reviews.
What you'll do
- Own the technical relationship during enterprise pilots — scoping, architecture discussions, and integration support.
- Run proofs-of-concept that get customers from first API call to production enforcement within 30 days.
- Build demos, reference architectures, and integration guides tailored to prospect environments (VPC, air-gapped, multi-cloud).
- Answer deep technical and security questionnaires during procurement and security review.
- Partner with product and engineering to relay prospect feedback and unblock technical objections.
- Support customer-facing technical content: webinars, workshops, and conference demos.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical customer-facing role — ideally in security or infra SaaS.
- Hands-on comfort with APIs, containers/Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider.
- Able to read and reason about application architecture well enough to scope an integration solo.
- Strong presentation skills — comfortable running a technical demo in front of a security team.
- Genuine curiosity about LLM/agent security and enterprise AI adoption.
- Comfortable with extended client-site deployments — this is a forward-deployed role, with on-site stints of up to three weeks at a time during active pilots.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating with LLM providers or model gateways.
- Background in application security, DevSecOps, or compliance tooling.
- Prior experience at an early-stage startup, comfortable with ambiguity.
