Founded in 2020, ORA is now SEA’s fastest growing digital health provider operating in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines with additional markets being launched soon. Our growing portfolio of healthcare brands includes Modules (prescription skincare), OVA (women’s health) and andSons (men’s health).

We have recently closed our Series A round of fundraising, banking the biggest round of any telehealth player in South East Asia and unlocking the next stage of our journey.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious HR Generalist to join our growing team. The HR Generalist plays a key role in bringing to life the Management Team’s vision for its people and creating a dynamic work environment that people are excited to be a part of.

General:

  • Understanding evolving business needs and ensuring HR is well-placed to exceed “customer” expectations.
  • Working effectively across the organization to ensure HR is respected as a key strategic partner to each function.
  • Using new technologies to improve efficiencies and capabilities within the Organization.
  • Continuous review of performance and future needs to ensure team scales efficiently and effectively.

Performance & Development Activities

  • Partner with functions to understand their goals, needs, challenges and how HR can help address these.
  • Build and execute a framework for people development within the organization to ensure employees perform at optimal levels and can realise their career goals at Ora.

Recruiting Activities

  • Understand the job scope of the role, needs of the hiring manager and the desired traits sought in a candidate.
  • Execute on hiring plan in an accelerated fashion.
  • Own onboarding activities to ensure new recruits ease into their new environment.

Administration

  • Ensure payroll information is kept up to date and employees paid on time.
  • Devise and manage annual/mid-year review as well as onboarding/orientation processes.
  • Research and recommend best in class employee insurance program as well as other benefit programs.
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Organizational Behaviour, Psychology, or Commerce.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Exposure to Malaysia & Singapore labour laws and HR best practices
  • Business-oriented, paying attention to details, and result-driven.

  • Able to work across functional areas and levels of the organization.
